U Kyaw Nyunt was appointed as a Consultant for the Proven Group of Companies in 2007. Born in Yangon in 1941, he was educated at Methodist High School. He graduated with a BA Degree in 1968 and he also as a Diploma in Accounting, He served as a Deputy Director in the office of the Auditor General in 1983, as a Government Auditor in Shan State in 1988, and he retired from his Deputy Director position in the office of the Auditor General in 1955 to found Kyaw Nyunt & Associate external audit team. He has a great deal of experience auditing in such sectors as energy, mining, marine transport, and social security. In his organizational activities, he acted as a member of the Myanmar Accountancy Council and a patron of MICPA. In addition to consultancies, he is also acting as an insolvency practitioner and official liquidator.
